never giving up

I got pregnant at 17 but i still graduated high school, i'm not a quiter. I've been doing nothing but working part time and seasonal jobs and i am looking forward finshing college and starting my career. Right now my daghter is 20 months old and i am doing my best as a single mom to take care of her. I want to give her a great life and give her everything. I feel bad because she has no father, he passed away Nov. 15, 2008. It's hard to be a young and single mom but like i said, i am not a quiter!

  1. You go girl! I am proud of you, and your daughter will be so proud of her mommy! I am sorry to hear about her father. You sound like a strong women. Good luck to you!

  2. Very inspirational story you have there! Keeping a journal (or blog!) may prove to be very worthwhile as a keepsake for when your daughter is older!

    Bravo you!

  3. I, too was a single mom, well I still am actually. It is a strugle, but they are worth every bit of it. I have four children, and I am 37. My first came at 20, I moved home and her dad stayed in Harper's Ferry, so that was the start....then I got married to a 'loser', and had the other 3. He cheated, we are getting a divorce, I am in school to make a better life for my children and myself, and he is history. I could not be happier. Everything happens for a reason, I have always heard...him cheatin' got me on the ball, and here I am..a college chic. I love life. You can do it too!!
